multi cultural day at MSOTA

so, yesterday was multi-cultural day and all of the kids came in dressed up. i won't bore you with the details but just show you some of our costumes! naomi.... can you guess is italian. i tried to improvise the best i could and i'm polish, alice is french and ez (ling) is chinese. and i didn't get a photo of pauline but she came as a gypsy. was a fun day!

principals! john thinks it is all a game! he knows where i have been transferred to but won't tell me. i hope that i'm not really going to nugga nugga remote community out near the border. he is so horrible to me. but i'm not sure if he's pulling my leg about knowing either. he just chuckles and says he can't tell me. deep down, he knows that it is driving me nuts. what can ya do... ...

Meeka DHS barnyard ball

the district high school through their annual ball and ez and i decided to go along. it was a great night and danced the night away. we even pulled out some "wigger" moves :P

also! yesterday it was rebel's 1st birthday. so ez decided to through him a party. there were dogs everywhere in the back yard, and there is still food coming out of our ears this morning

stella's hens night

last night, us chickies painted the town red for stella (not that it isn't red enough!). we played games, drank and went on a pub crawl.

it was a fun night, and everyone kept complimenting me on my "air drumming".

BA

last night, went down to the fire station with the girls to some BA (breathing apparatus) training. it was pretty cool. we got to wear the oxygen masks and tanks. then we had to walk around town (and past the pub LOL) in our gear. here is a photo of me, claire and al...doo doo doo doo



on the weekend, went around to al and naomi's to watch the footy. didn't really watch it as who watches west coast eagles.... pfft honestly :P
ended up taking a ride in the hammock, and al thought it would be funny to swing me really high... i didn't feel so good. and al, you are one crazy chick. she can do a 360 in the hammock holding a cigarette and a beer (without spilling it), whilst it's swinging. yes, she does try these things. got video footage of that too when i get back!

well my body is absolutely chunted after this weekend. but for most part, it was an AWESOME weekend. it was great to see liz before she goes to india! see you in december chicky babe.

so yesterday, we got to put out real fires down at the pad. it was really hot funny enough but hard work. and i thought i had a cool instructor until he blasted me for not listening to his unclear instructions... and every second word to me was f***in throughout the whole drill. he then said he owed me an apology after being blasted back at by the other instructors. well i wouldn't call it an apology "i'm going to give you an apology but let me make it clear i'm not gonna say it more that once". that's okay, he can be that way.... everyone else said i did a good job (considering ive still got 2 weeks b4 i come off probation). but, at the end of the day i had a great team, and the guys were fantastic.

at one stage they were acting like dad's and dressing me so i didn't get burnt..... awwww. it was pretty funny. so thanks guys.

was a bit worried about bhodi last night as i didn't hear from him. hope everything is okay.

then i got home this morning after leroy dropped me off, i found a note on my bed from my new friend jake (really ian)

it's a wrap

well that's another sports camp wrapped up. and i managed to not get sunburnt until today :P

i'll be flying into perth fri night with claire and al. bring on the fire! we're all a bit excited and can't wait. fire over our heads.... our ears getting crispy lol

so if anyone is free fri, sat or sun night let me know cause i'd love to catch up.

what's that? oh, i think i hear the pub calling me for a diet coke & pool

so, i'm moving out and moving in with ez. i'm quite excited. thanks ang for coaching me - you're a good sort.

yes, it's busy busy busy. but better than not doing anything. and next week is sports camp - look out for all of those sun kisses. i promise this year i will not get sunburnt (well i'll try not to look like a lobster and be a good role mode :P)
