volunteer fire fighters - meeka brigade
well here is a first training session as volunteer fire fighters. on saturday morning claire, al and i went down to mount magnet and did introduction to fire fighting. we got to roll hoses, use the water and heaps of other stuff. i must say the mount magnet crew were awesome and so supportive. so thanks a lot guys!

well we had our first call out at 2.30am on Tuesday. 50km's up the road of meeka. just a oil tanker had come off the road and desiel was leaking everywhere. there wasn't much we could do so we came back to town. back in bed at 5pm

looks like brilliant fun.. :D I've done firefighting thru work, but that looks brilliant.. :P
and you get a uniform ;) can u take it home? :P

nah,
they have to stay at the station. at the moment we are just borrowing the guys uniforms. our cappy has to sort through the stuff with us and order us what we need. are you still volunteering?
